I’m very picky when it comes to good coffee beans for my espresso, cappuccino and latte. This place has phenomenal coffee beans, freshly roasted. It’s definitely my favorite coffee (beans) for my home made drinks. My favorite is the Mameya Blend at City Roast Level. Keep in mind that the beans need to sit for about 4 days after roasting before you can use them. As they don’t have any espresso drinks there, I never tried one of their coffee creations.

I visited Mameya Coffee Roasters on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Laguna Niguel. Mameya Coffee Roasters is a coffee brand from Kobe, Japan, and this is their first branch in the United States. More than a dozen different types of coffee beans are placed in front of the Coffee Roaster Machine, and they roast the beans to your desired roast level right on the spot. I tried the Iced Kobe, and the coffee tasted smooth and good, but it had a slightly burnt taste, probably because they use beans roasted right in the store. They have a variety of coffee beans, so next time l visit, l’ll have to try a different bean. If you’re a coffee lover, I recommend you to try specialty coffee here.

This is such a great spot! This coffee store has tons of fresh beans you can choose with their consulting and they will roast them right there for you!!! Such a great experience! The smell when you walk in is amazing…. like you instantly feel more awake! The staff are super friendly and helpful and the whole vibe is just really welcoming. There is outdoor seating and the inside is cozy with comfy sofas and chairs. Parking is easy too since it is in a plaza. Also they sell cute little branded gifts like mugs… perfect if you re a coffee fan or want to grab something small for a friend. Highly recommended and we will keep coming back to!

I recently visited Mameya and ordered their famous coffee, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee enveloped me. The attention to detail in their roasting process, inspired by Japanese precision, is reflected in the exceptional flavor of their coffee. They have a wide variety of beans from different countries, allowing you to customize your experience according to your preferences. The ability to choose the roast, grind, and size of your order is a great bonus. I loved how each cup is a true masterpiece, carefully crafted with tradition and innovation. Additionally, the access to the shop is very easy, with plenty of parking available. I would definitely recommend Maméya to any coffee lover looking for a unique and delicious experience. You can't miss it!

Excellent store with custom roasting. They have great pourovers. There is no espresso, so skip if you want an espresso. The coffee was excellent and the store has a very nice interior as well as other goods to sell.

I’d heard great things about this coffee shop, so we decided to give it a try. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the moment I walked in, the rich aroma of coffee hit me—and I instantly understood the hype. Their menu is simple and straightforward, which I appreciated. I opted for the dark roast pour-over, and it was delicious—smooth, flavorful, and satisfying. I’m already looking forward to coming back to pick up some of their freshly roasted beans to enjoy at home!

Those who like to make coffee by hand can come for a drink, which is very good! It also provides coffee baking service, which is great. The shop assistants are all Japanese and very friendly.
